Hello blog world! I’m back!! And guess what —

We’re married!!!

I have so much to share with you and I cannot wait to get started!!

Before I get into my wedding-post plan — there are a couple things I want to say 🙂

Husband — AHHHH! We’re married! Too late to turn around now! How did our wedding and honeymoon go by so fast?? Thank you for the perfect day to start our life together!

Mom — Thank you so much for all your help preparing and throughout the wedding! You were such a big support! You were absolutely beautiful and I am so proud to be your daughter!

In-Laws — Thank you for welcoming me into your family!

Rachel, Alex, and Liz (My Bridesmaids) — You guys are hilarious! Thanks for standing by me all day! If anyone were to carry around that back of my dress and help me pee, I’m glad it was the three of you! Now hurry up and get married so I can party on your big day!! 🙂

Out of town guests — Thank you for coming so far to see us! Our day was even more special just knowing you were there to share it with us!

All of our guests — Thank you for making our wedding the best party a girl could ask for!

Loyal Blog Readers and Twitter Followers — Thanks for waiting so patiently for me to come back and all your warm, warm wishes!

As we wait for our photographer to finish developing the boat-load of our pictures, he was graciously able to send us a slideshow of about 30 pictures. They’re absolutely amazing!! You can find our slideshow HERE. Although I rarely get on Facebook, I have been recently stalking our guests’ pages looking at all their pictures of the wedding! Once I figure out how to save people’s FB pictures to my iPhone, I will surely upload some here as well 🙂

I want to show you every detail of the wedding and honeymoon, but of course I need pictures to do that! To do this, I’ll have multiple posts of the wedding and honeymoon. Some posts will include:

  • The days leading up to the wedding
  • Getting ready the day of
  • Ceremony
  • Reception
  • Small wedding details
  • All of our Honeymoon hotspots!!
  • Reviews of Restaurants, Historical locations, and Hotels!

For now —

I’m back at work photo-less! Of course we were both sad for the wedding and honeymoon to be over, it was also nice to get home. We’re very much looking forward to a more relaxed day-to-day life that is no longer consumed with filling little jars with cinnamon honey butter, tying ribbons, and sending hundreds of wedding e-mails.

Alex will unfortunately be working late a few nights this week. Even though I’ll miss him, this will give me tons of photo-uploading time! I’m off to starting writing my next post!! Check back soon!

Happy Monday 🙂

    • Thank you!! I really wanted the bouquet to look naturally pretty and almost thrown together, rather than a bunch of flowers perfectly placed in a specifc spot. I’m so happy it turned out well!

  1. Michelle,

I showed your slide show to the little girls I do daycare for and after a lot of smiles, giggles and questions, the best question was…Is he (Alex) singing that song to her!! Beautiful pictures! They really captured the tone of the day! I can’t wait to see more!

      • We would both love to be up there but work for Joe is rough around the holiday weekends. I will keep working on it though. I let your mom know when we will be up for sure in June and July. I think we may plan a crab night Maryland too!
