As I dressed for today’s workout, I couldn’t help but busting out some good ol’ Johnny Cash. After watching Walk the Line a few years ago I’ve really come to enjoy his music. Today’s theme is apparently black — I jammed out to “Man in Black” before I headed over to work out. Can you see why?
Today I began to repeat yesterday’s interval run, but into minute 16 the treadmill went from 7 mph to 0.5 mph. I’m surprised I didn’t fall off and into the mirrors! I was reeeeeally mad slightly frustrated, but quickly hopped over to the elliptical for 15 minutes. After stretching, I walked home and popped in Jillian Michael’s 30 Day Shred. Even with my run cut short, I feel like I got a decent work out! See red face:
Another update: Today I officially finished physical therapy for my back! If you can remember a little over a month ago I was having terrible back pain. Three weeks of physical therapy later — I’m back to tip-top shape! Woo Hoo! It definitely feels great to be pain free.
Lunch today was fantastic! This weekend my mom and I found a Havana Black Bean dip at Harry and David. Today I mixed a scoop of the dip with shredded chicken and spread it on a Arnold’s Sandwich Thin. Yummy! I also had a cut Pink Lady Apple with Smuckers sugar-free caramel sauce drizzled over it. To-Die-For. That’s all I can say.
